hope christmas had been great for you guys.
and yes the year is about to come to an end. looking back, it has been a year full of ups and downs. from a (singaporean) guy's point of view, ns has really taught us a lot, both in the chiong sua way and the office way. chao geng, eye power, wayang king, all talk no action etc. etc. but more importantly, NS has taught us to really pay closer attention to the things around us, see what is important to us, cherish them (i really don't mind staying in because of this). at times we scream unfair, and yearn how nice it'll be if we needn't serve. but maybe sometime in the future, we'll look back and really thank NS for giving us something school life and working life can never give us.
it'll be 2009 soon. and guys, that precious three-letter word that has been screaming out from deep down inside will come soon.
and one of my friends told me how uni life has really changed the girls somehow. i guess it's true to a certain extent. but from the last time i met up with some of you (sincerely apologise for not being able to make it for the sentosa outing), it did not seem that way. i guess that's a good sign in a way. as we tread down the road of life, do remember who you are and not lose that thought. we're all unique in our own way, and that's what's important.
before that, CNY is about a month away. do remember to buy your new clothes soon before prices start to jack up. or maybe they won't since recession is kinda bad recently. but i should be more worried about myself here since i'm earning the least among all the guys. or if you're looking for cheap clothes because recession has burned a hole in your pocket just like it did to mine, do buy them after CNY, that's when prices are at the rock bottom. or if not u can just get them at 3 for $10 at some pasar malam la.
and weiquan, u serious about running sundown marathon ar?
